The HP ink and cartridges are the best if you are looking for consistent ink color and even distribution across the page. I have tried a couple of off-brand replacements but the quality just isn’t there and even can gum up the printhead. The downside: price. Especially when you can get a new printer that includes some ink for less than ink cartridges alone.
