I would never consider using anything other than ORIGINAL HP INK Cartridges... I have used others and each and every time they seem to "run out of ink" faster than my HP INK Cartridges do. The colors of the HP INK Cartridges seem to be brighter and bolder too. Sure the cost may be more but you also get "more ink and better color" from the HP INK Cartridges than any others you might try. In the long run you save money buying the HP INK Cartridges. If you are a Small Business Owner and you want your flyer's or your letterhead to look WONDERFUL - do yourself a favor and buy HP INK Cartridges!

Yes the HP printers are cheap and the ink expensive but I've had spotty results from ink resellers and I went back to Staples to get ink that (a) works well (b) has true color rendition and (3) has reasonable value. I don't mind spending a little more to get something that works to my expectations. Two thumbs up!

I like that the XL comes with the combo package especially with the black ink. It is the one I use the most and therefore lasts longer! The quality of the ink is great and I get nice color tones.

Lots of Ink

I love that the new cartridges now hold a lot more ink. I just finished my Christmas cards and I expected that I would need to buy a new set of ink cartridges. I had only used a fourth of the ink and believe me I sent a lot of cards and notes. It is going to be much more convenient for me not having to go get a set after every holiday. I have been pleased with the quality of the HP cartridges and it is continuing with this new set. Also it was nice that it was in a set together so I was sure I had everything I would need.

HP 950XL 951XL Color Ink Cartridges C/M

My old HP used 940Xl Cartridges and were very good on ink. The 950XL and 951XL boast and even higher number for number of printed pages to expect from this cartridge over the 940XL. I have no doubt that this will be true. HP makes quality products and their merchandising (descripion of their products) are usually very factual and leave you with a good understanding of what to expect.
