I have owned at least ten HP printers over the years. At one point I would buy the generic store cartridges for use and they work OK but sometimes the quality is not there. In fact for a presentation I was doing I used the generic brand and got streaking and color fading. With this HP 950XL combo pack I have gotten outstanding results. The color hues are just much sharper and it takes less ink. That has been my observation. The other factor to consider is that Staples often has great deals on name brand inks so it's worth it to get the HP brand. My son had to print out 25 handouts for a class and the print color was amazing and the ink consumption was minimal. I highly recommend HP ink cartridges.
I really like that I can order cartridges for my printer in a kit that covers all the necessary color cartridges I need. Never had any trouble with these cartridges. But the best part is knowing that if I get low on these cartridges I can order them from Staples and have them the next day. Which is a real plus for my business.
This is actually the 1st time we've had an all-in-one type printer that needed separate cartridges for each color instead of just black & color. This printer was recommended to us by a Staples sales associate. This was one of the selling points as well as the increased copy capacity for our small business. I have to say all the sales points used have proved true. Also the various color cartridges seem to be more economical. We are very satisfied with our purchase & will likely rely on guidance from your sales staff for future purchases.
Why on earth would HP not include XL size for all the bundled ink ? It's not convenidnet if I run out of colored ink before I run out of black ink. It's not much of a deal.
the combo pack is worth the investment since the cost of buying this pack is far less than purchasing each cartridge separately. the XL cartridges last much longer than the standard ones.
