HP 950XL 951 Color/Black combo

These cartridges work well - cons - doesn't last long enough for the price and don't appreciate trying to kick it off before all the ink is gone - work with the customer not against - making the hp machine stop the ink from going further when it can is not appreciated. HP is the #1 printer in my opinion - just work with customers more so it always maintains that #1 spot. I have changed many companies I do bookkeeping for from Epson or Canon to HP - so I am your spokesperson - don't let me down.

Good Ink Purchase

This package is a very good ink purchase as the Black is extended use rated and all three of the colors my printer uses are included in the package. Even though the colors are not extended use rated the ink cartridges do last quite a while. When we are printing a lot of business materials I am surprised how well the ink holds. I would say that they average 3 months with heavy use of colored training and product materials. If we continue to produce a large amount of materials I might use the colored extended use cartridges to test their length of usage for comparison.

We have found the HP XL ink cartridges to be very cost effective. Long lasting lots of pages printed with each HP 950XL and HP 951XL cartridge we've purchased.

I appreciate that the ink is in different units. This keeps me from wasting money buying colors I don't normally use as much of. This was one of the feature I maade sure I checked into before buying the printer I did. Also the cost of the ink units and the way they are packaged helped me decide which printer to go with. There is no mess with set up which is a plus. I like saving money and helping our earth by recycling. I am not sure if Staples takes these units back. I return my other ones from my older printer.
