Great Value - lasts and lasts

So glad I bought an Hewlett Packard 8600. Dependable easy to use produces excellent documents. Toner lasts much longer than toner did with previous multifunction machine. I have been not been disappointed it does everything I had hoped for and more. Had to print off two hundred and fifty page document with photos and it performed perfectly. Scanner is easy to use and produces wonderful images especially critical since I print them frequently. Copier is dependable and easy to use as well.

I really like buying all of the colors together however; for me they run out too fast. I would really like to see Staples carry the color 3 pk with the 951xl. I started buying those separately instead. For me the yellow runs out first every time then the blue then the pink. I also like that HP recognizes that it is a genuine ink cartridge. I always forget my cartridges when I purchase though I would like to see Staples honor the awards if you return them within a few days of purchasing new ones.

the black cartridge was XL; but the others were not!! I try to watch for that!! HP has done much better with the yield with the XL. Thanks.

All ink is not equal. HP ink is good quality ink. I would rather buy quality over quantity but price is an important factor. If ink would drop to under $20 a cartrIdge for the XL I would print more at the office and less at the print shop but at the price of cartridges it is worth the trip to the copy center. I would not recommend re-inked cartridges as to some of the problems reported and would only recommend new in the box. I have never had a problem with HP XL cartridges and hope I never have a problem in the future. I would give HP XL 5 stars out of 5 stars.

I am pleased with the ink cartridges for my printer. They last long enough and I signed up for instant ink so I won't have to go to the store when I need ink.
