I only use original HP ink in my printer and this combo package is packaged the way I use ink. I use more Black ink and it includes a XL size and regular size for the 3 colors. I always keep one for backup. But if you ever run out Staples always has exactly what I need in stock!!!!! Watch for the discount coupons and you can get a pretty good deal..

Great 950XL Ink

This is a good bargain if you do a lot printing. Two black XL cartridges and one XL cartridge of each color. It usually work out that I use the two black to each color. You can't go wrong with genuine HP ink.

I know HP may cost more but at least they don't mess up my printer. I bought non genuine and had to replace the printhead - ridicilous... This one works great though. Got it at a good price on with a coupon.

I find that when I am looking to purchase ink or toner products it is best for me to wait for Staples offering of their twenty percent off of the original price. I find that when buying these combo packages it is best for me to get the HP ink combination pack that has only one black ink cartridges in the combo pack. For if I were to purchase the HP combo pack that has two black ink cartridges in the combination pack I do not use the second black ink cartridge before I will need to purchase color ink cartridges.
