This is my first time with an HP printer and cartridges and I have been very pleased with the quality of draft setting copies. I was able to print color copies for use for a client and did not need to use the "normal" or the "best"" setting - the draft ones were more than sufficient. I am looking forward to seeing how close to the expected 2300 black and white copies these cartridges last and not needing to keep purchasing cartridges in advance so that I don't end up high and dry and in a jam.
HP 950XL 951 Color Ink Cartridges C/M/Y Combo Pack (C2P01FN) by HP is a great and easy way of buying ink cartridges for my HP Officejet pro 8600 plus all in one printer. One box with all the ink that is need to keep printing. No need to search out multiple boxes of ink cartridges just one box and go. The XL size cartridges work great for me and print lots of pages for the family. The quality of the prints is excellent for text and color photos. I have never had a defective cartridge either. Always inconstant performance.
The print quality is excellent and for close to $100 for this one refill pack it sure should be. There is no doubt that huge profits exist not in the printer itself but in the refills necessary to keep the "beast" fed. The two star rating is for value defined as the cost for the quality. The qulaity is good; the cost is outrageous.
Color come out well with all being true to good effect Our use is mostly black so the combo with black xl And colors single works really works well for us
I help run a genealogy office and so it is important that I have a good printer and ink. We love our HP printer and we buy our HP 950 XL color ink cartridges at Staples. There are many times that we are printing off papers needed for work and we also do lots of personal printing. We print off a few photos and mainly emails or family history items that we need to save. My husband used our HP printer to make a 2 inch thick book on his family's history. The pages came out neat and clean and then we took it to Staples to have copies made.
