Convenient and fine.

Can't comment much on the cartridges because I'm at their mercy. Buy the printer stuck with the cartridges. They work fine and are easy to install etc. Like everything else these days seems they run out faster than they should..but I really have nothing to compare them to. I like being able to buy the full set in one box--that's convenient. They like all other cartridges seem overpriced but again buy the printer and you are at the mercy of the maker of the cartridges. I'm not having much greater happiness with my laser printer but really don't like the frequency of replacing these ink cartridges.

The ink in the combo pack is most likely the same as the same ink sold in seperate boxes. The combo pack saves you about $4 compared to buying the 4 individually. Not much of a deal. I waited until the store had a 20 percent sale on everything you could put into a reusable shopping bag so that saved me like $15 to $20. It's genuine HP ink so it hasn't caused any problems ever with my officejet pro 8600 printer.

Staples is an easy store to order with and has fast free shipping. Genuine HP cartridges bring in empty cat ridges to the store for $2.00 ea. Make sure you have your rewards account already setup. Look for specials as well.
