When my old printer gave out I really needed a reliable printer and decided to get an HP Officejetpro 8620 with the legal size scanning bed. This is one great printer. And the ink is fantastic! It might seem a bit pricey at first but it just looks great whenever I have to print anything in black and white or color. The blacks look very black--as they should! And the colors look bright and saturated--just as they should too! The printer does a great job and prints with great speed! I'm so very very pleased with this printer and how good things look. The ink is well worth every penny! And the cartridges are easy to install. Overall this is a great printer with great results!

The combination pack saves money as compared to purchasing the cartridges separately. Since I use my printer for photos printing as well as text it seems that I go through all the colors and black at the same rate. The cartridges are easy to install. I have tried to used discounted compatible cartridges but these did not work with the HP office-jet pro 8600. I have been waiting for sales from Staples in order to save money on the ink and so I keep one in back up at all times and therefore avoid having to buy them at the last minute at a higher price.

Although it lasts considerably longer than an average ink cartridge It still seems like I run out of ink quickly when printing with black and white
