This ink cartridge is as good as any other ink cartridge but it is the only ink cartridge that can be used with the Hewlitt Packard printer for which it is designed and that makes it the best of any ink cartridge you can buy if you want to use it in that particular type of printer. By purchasing the pack you are better off than by buying single color cartridges as this way they are less expensive to procure which will save you a lot of money ion the long run. Basically you are stuck You have to buy these.

Buy the XL ink package. Especially for the black ink. It really does last much longer than regular size cartridges. Worth the extra money.
