HP no longer individually wraps the cartridges in the set with sealed aluminum foil pouches but are placed in a cardboard box unprotected… will this effect the longevity of the stored cartridges? It’s sure cheaper than the old way of packaging but ironically the price for this set of cartridges went up!

I’ve been using HP printers for home and office. The ink is expensive. The printers are fine but have programmed a disable feature for re-filled cartridges that is not easy to disable. So sure… a cheaper HP ink option would be nice.
