I thought I was getting HP’s XL ink. But after getting home I noticed only the black ink cartridge was 950XL. The 951 ink is not XL. It is their standard ink. You have to look carefully at their packaging. I believe this is deliberately misleading by HP. So I returned it to Staples looking to replace it with the XL version for the combo 950 and 951. But lo and behold. Staples doesn’t carry the 950/951 combo XL package. You have to buy them separately. For more money. So I bought them at a nearby big box store. Paid less for them than I would have paid at Staples. If I was certain the non-HP knock-offs would work and not ruin my HP printer I would gladly start using the replacement cartridges. The final verdict. 2 stars. Shame on HP.
