I'm disappointed that HP all-in-one did not accept HP cartridges. Problem is printer hardware faulty but HP won't supply free parts. Cost of parts is greater than cost of new machine. It's hard to prove if machine was purposefully disabled electronically to create new sales. Add more to the landfill!!
I was debating purchasing a new printer because my tried and true HP signaled a ‘failure.’ There’d been a fleeting reference on it to a cartridge and I wondered about getting another set of HP ink cartridges nearly the price of a unit that was on sale. (That had resolved a similar matter a couple of years ago.) I ended up buying the ink after discussing the matter with the salesperson and learning I could still return my old one and apply it to purchase of a new one if the cartridges didn’t resolve the situation and Voila! My old printer returned to good form. Terrific service and advice.
