I guess that’s the point though - HP doesn’t make any money from selling that printer until you start putting the ridiculously expensive ink through it. Not Staples fault I guess but it’s still ridiculously expensive

This color ink quality is very vivid and clear. The product performance is excellent when I print on my computer it does not smear. I always buy the black XL because I can make a great number of copies before I have to change therefore I save money. The color ink cartridges last a great deal longer than other similar name brand products. The performance is excellent. It's easy to change out when the ink is used up. It is compatible with other HP printer therefore making it easy to find in the Staples store when you get ready to purchase your HP supply of ink.
