This combo pack is generally just perfect for us since we use more black ink than colored and if one of the colors does happen to run out you can still choose to print in black and white.

I really like the HP 950 XL/951 high yield black and standard C/M/Y color ink cartridges combo pack. The black XL ink lasts for a long time. The colored ink cartridges are great because you may only have to change one color and then a month later the second or third. You can use them separately. The savings in price is good and they are very easy to load and change in my HP printer. When I had trouble loading the printer the HP service representative said to send in the ink cartridges and they would reimburse me free.

I always buy HP ink for my HP Officejet Pro 8600 which is several years old. I ran a small business out of my house and used the HP to print all of my forms I used for interviews. I credit the HP for keeping my machine running flawlessly this long. The package of ink I purchased will continue the great work my machine does. Thank you HP and Staples for carrying my product.
