I purchased this because one of our inks was getting low then they were all empty at once. Glad I had this on hand. Replaced these and everything worked fine. Remember your HP printer recognizes if you have HP ink and doesn't want refills.

Never had an ink cartridge so difficult to break open before I bought this printer. In the future plan to ask Staples person to open cartridge. Ink is fine once you can crack it open.
