This thing’s heavy, but nice contemporary reformer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not quite a studio reformer, but it is aesthetically pleasing and has a pretty smooth ride. It doesn’t break the bank like “professional” reformers and has springs. I could not give 5 stars due to mine shipping minus 4 necessary screws, a slightly damaged carriage corner, and 2 non-functional blue springs that it took me hours to pry apart to remove. Also, I’m disappointed in the quality of the ropes; one was slightly fraying upon delivery. The wheels squeaked and I sprayed them with dry silicone which seems to have eliminated the noise. I bought new pulleys since I hear it doesn’t come with great ones. The shoulder pads are somewhat comfortable but get in the way when trying to use the pulley bar for pull-ups. I think the reformer could be shorter and still provide sufficient leg extension. The stoppers on both ends limit your range a bit. Wish the foot-bar didn’t wiggle, but it’s nicely padded. The carriage is cushy. Love the trampoline rebounder vs a more plyometric jump board. Didn’t want to pay $$$$ for another brand with a cardio trampoline. Customer service is very responsive. Assembly was a pain. Took 2+ hours even with help; not hard, time consuming. I’d give the reformer 3.5 stars as compared to a professional one, but 5 stars for customer service. I also think a bit more factory attention to detail such that 2 damaged springs don't make it past quality control would be great.

I bought this machine hoping that I would like it. I love it. It is not hard, however you do work up quite a sweat and it makes your feel very strong. It's not hard to follow the videos and assembly wasn't difficult.

I've had this only a couple of weeks and the rubber mat is already coming unglued from the foot stand. It is curling up which is disappointing. Also, the product appears to have been designed for only one user vs a household because the ropes are not easy to adjust for varying heights. The system also makes a little more noise than anticipated which can make 6am workouts disturbing to others who might want to sleep in or enjoy their coffee in quiet. Despite these challenges, the product delivers on all the standard exercises we used to do at Club Pilates. It feels extremely stable for a 245 lb person. The range of motion is excellent and the adjustable foot and pully bars are a pleasant surprise.

Was nice that alot of the parts were preassembled and the rest was pretty easy. A couple of the springs were bent too far closed and it makes them hard to quickly take off and put on depending on the resistance you want. One of the springs squeaks when extended and I'm afraid I'm going to wake others when I work out early. Like the jump board, but definitely ordered the box and pole for a lot of the exercises done at the Pilates studio.

For an at home reformer, this machine does the trick! The grip platform and the easy changing between the foot bar and rebounder is wonderful! It glides as well as you could expect for a non-studio machine! The only design element I would change if I was able is the way to adjust the ropes. If I want to do movements where I grip the straps rather than the loops, the plastic adjuster can be troublesome if that is where your grip lands. The only other thing I wish it had is the ability to adjust the carriage for the height of a person. My husband is not able to fully utilize the positioning of the foot bar because he is too tall. It needs to be on the back slanted position for him to even have a chance at a workout.
