Lightweight yet powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum! The light really helps me to see any dust or dirt i may have missed and one pass of this vacuum picks it up. I appreciate the long cord, it’s nice that i dont have to keep finding another outlet and pausing my vacuuming. The suction is incredible. I dont have to keep going over an area, it picks things up with one pass. It’s super lightweight, i can vacuum my entire house without getting tired and i have no problem carrying it upstairs. It’s also really easy to remove and add attachments. It detaches and becomes a hand held vacuum and has 2 different attachments to use. I love that is light and thin and can fit in small places and get under the bed. Vaccuming is almost fun now!

Great Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this little vacuum. It does a great job cleaning up all messes, big and little. It holds quite a bit of dust, so no need for multiple trips to empty it. It's not loud either, which my dogs approve of! It also picks up their hair with ease, which is a major plus! I love that it has multiple ways to use it, and includes different tools for different jobs.

Cute, powerful little vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is great! It may be small, but it’s definitely mighty and picks up all dust it comes in contact with. That being said, it is important to note that the smallness means you may have to empty out the dust collecting canister a few times. I think you’d be able to do a full studio apartment without emptying though, so if you live in a small space then this should be perfect for you!
I knocked off one star, but technically I’d only knock off half (4.5/5). This is because the vacuum is top-heavy, and it won’t stand up straight on its own. It keeps tipping over, so you’ll have to keep it against something when not in use. The design of that could’ve been a little better (like keeping the canister lower on the machine instead of up by the already large handle)

Has great suction for such a small vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My house gets vacuumed at least twice a week. And I’m always on the lookout for a vacuum that can tackle dirt and lots of dog hair. My Home mainly consist of hardwood floors, tile, and a couple rugs.
The type of vacuum I like are these corded stick vacuums.
This Farberware vacuum is very compact. I don’t have much for closet space to store items, but this vacuum fits perfectly in the small area in my hall closet. It can easily be taken apart, to make it more compact, but I keep it put together and it leans well against the wall and stays upright. This vacuum is actually pretty light in weight. I’ve had vacuums before where they actually hurt my wrist from holding them. But this vacuum doesn’t seem to put any strain on my wrist. The compartment where it catches all the debris isn’t really that big, so I’m constantly having to empty it. This wouldn’t be a problem for someone with a smaller living area, but for me with a very hairy dog and many rooms, I seem to be emptying it out every five minutes, compared to my old vacuum. I can say, though it has great suction from dog hair to dirt and dust, even tiny rocks. It sucks everything right up. It even does a great job along the baseboard. This vacuum also has a low profile which I’m able to get underneath my couch, whereas in the past other vacuums couldn’t reach under my couch. I also like that this vacuum can turn into a hand vacuum and all parts detach very easily.
This vacuum comes with two attachments. The crevice tool, which helps me get dog hair and dust out from the couch cushions and around the corners of furniture. The second attachment is a dusting brush, which helps with my blinds. They also include a cord wrap to attach to the vacuum. A huge plus! Speaking of the cord on this vacuum, it’s an OK length. I do wish it was another 5 feet longer. That way I could reach every corner of my living-room, without having to unplug it and re-plug it in into another outlet, but not a huge deal. It would just make it more convenient for me. I love corded vacuums. I think it gives them more suction and I don’t have to worry about the battery running out on a corded one. Overall, this is a good vacuum and I would definitely recommend it for someone who lives in an apartment or has a smaller home would also be great for someone in a large RV or camper.

Great for small non-carpeted spaces!

It did a great job maneuvering across the tile floors, capturing dust, crumbs, and pet hair. The cord is nice & long, although I would prefer a cordless unit. A slight drawback, there is no where to store the other attachment heads on the vacuum itself when not in use. I would recommend this unit for small non-carpeted spaces.

Good value for a simple, yet powerful vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been loyal to a different brand for almost two decades, so I was hesitant to branch out and try something else. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Farberware! I opted to get the classic stick vac, but had some confusion on the packaging. The box said it was cordless and the instructions insinuated the same; but the actual product was corded, which I actually was expecting. The cord is long enough to reach in a wide area without having to unplug and move it around until I’m ready to move to a new room. I’m impressed with the suction and how well it picks up even the smallest pieces of cat litter and pet fur. There is a light on the front to illuminate how dusty the floor in front of it actually is, but I’m not sure how or when the vacuum decides to turn it on - it seems sporadic. The noise level is quite a bit higher than I expected, but because it’s easy to maneuver and has decent suction, I don’t have to spend a lot of time listening to it. Overall, I think this is a good value for the price.

The vac has a built in light to see in dark corners. It also has a swivel neck to go around difficult areas , it also includes a wall hanging hook. Looks like they thought of everything with this stick vac. I really like it and what it has to offer in the way of making housework more efficient.

Great for small jobs!

I used it to vacuum my living room and definitely had to pull my bigger brand-name vacuum out to tighten up what was left. I did use it on a spill in my kitchen and it does great on tile! The suction power is OK for quick jobs. The cord is nice and long and does not get in the way when you are vacuuming. The volume level is that of your typical vacuum. I could still hold a conversation while completing my chores.
It is top heavy so standing it in between adjusting furniture or items on the floor can get a little tricky. Overall it performed well and can definitely be used to keep your common areas tidy when you don’t want to pull out a larger vacuum or the old broom and dust pan.
