I've only had this product for 5 months and the hose and straps have already broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using this product for over 2 years now and works great, only issue I have is some times I struggle picking up some dirt from the floor you have to go over the area several times to get a good clean off the carpets, but otherwise works well and gets the job completed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
