Awesome monster truck addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons' eyes lit up when they saw the box for this toy. They immediately got to work putting it together and then played for a couple hours off and on during the day, even having their cousins come over to play with it. They were enthralled by the giant gorilla and how he reacts to trucks hitting him and they giggled at his underwear. The monster truck that the set came with was different from ones they've seen before and they immediately argued over who got to use it. This is a great addition to other monster truck sets that they have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of interactive fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Arena Smasher's Mega-Wrex vs. Crushzilla Takedown. This toy arrived in a colorful, eye catching box. Mega- Wrex is visibly located in the front of the box, thus enticing my son to open it up and play! The graphics on the packaging appeal to my children and they were squealing with excitement to open it up. The Crushzilla part with all the track and stand for other trucks, came in many pieces. Although, it is not really difficult to assemble, it is a little bit time consuming. So the kids had to practice patience while I read the instructions and put it together. There are several sticker decals to apply. This is not difficult and the graphics look nice.
This toy has several areas to drive the trucks over. There are two launching stations where you drive the truck on and try to launch it through a plastic tire that Crushzilla holds. When he is hit with the monster truck, he springs backwards and crashes into the stands behind him. If you have several other trucks placed in the stands, they will all fall and crash through. My kids love a big crash like that. You can “feed” the plastic “smashed” cars in his mouth and he has a hatch behind him that releases the crushed cars and they slide down the ramp. I like that you can launch trucks from multiple areas. You have several ramps to drive over, and the stands to place more trucks or cars.
A giant gorilla figure looks fierce and my son loves that.
The Mega- Wrex is a classic, well made monster truck. Very colorful and appealing to kids.

“Best ever” rating from my son!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was definitely a hit in my house, and continues to be! Nothing captures my 6-year-old’s attention for too long, but this sure has. Assembly was not difficult; however, placement of the stickers properly was a bit tedious (especially since we couldn’t wait to get started playing with it)! Construction has held up to times of his rough play (crashing the trucks, etc.). All in all, this has earned a top rating in our house, both from a child’s and parents’ perspective. Definitely would recommend!

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Arena

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toy was tested by both my 7 and 5 year old- both were able to play at the same time which made it a fun toy for them to play together, definitely nice that it came with one monster truck. They liked and thought it was funny that when the monster got hit they saw he had little hearts on his underwear. Only thing as the parent, it definitely needed my attention and time to put together, not something smaller kids could do. Wasn’t a big fan of having to put the stickers on also, takes a steady hand which could be difficult for some to do.

best obe yet for little hot wheel lovers

Looks Fun But Kinda Boring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Monster Truck Arena Smashers looks like a really fun toy but there really wasn't much to do with it. It is made with good quality but it took some time to put together. The kids had a hard time figuring out what the trucks were supposed to do and how to play with it. It did not keep there attention for long because they were frustrated with it.

Taking out Crushzilla

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought my 4 year old son would love playing with the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Arena Smashers Mega-Wrex vs. Crushzilla Takedown but it really didnt keep his interest. Maybe he is too young for the Arena Smashers line but I didnt think it was really that great either. There are no battery operated parts which is nice but it really leaves a lot to the imagination. It took a lot of time to launch the cars to "takedown Crushzilla", I felt the product was boring and didnt keep my son's interest.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not your typical hot wheel set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not your typical hot wheel track set. You have to launch the cars into the tire that the big monster is holding using the catapult. It wasn’t difficult building it, adults need to snap the pieces together for little ones without finger strength. It kept my boy entertained for hours during the lazy hot summer.
