[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this for a kitchen remodel and it worked out so good. I didn’t want to redesign the whole kitchen around 1 cabinet and used this to retrofit an existing cabinet and it works great and easy to install.

Manage trash without the mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rev-A-Shelf hideway bins are an effective solution to manage trash without any of the related mess. Our trash bins were under the sink in the kitchen and removing it to take them out was not a pleasant experience. First, we had to get the trash can out from under the sink. Next we would need to get the trash bag out of the can and then deal with all of the smell that comes with. And then the reverse when you have to set it up with an empty trash bag.
The Rev-A-Shelf system is well designed, sturdy and effective. Now getting the trash out is a slide away! No need to the entire trash can out. The sliding base enables easy access to the trashbag.
I am quite pleased with the quality of the chrome extension slides. They are sturdy but not too heavy. They certainly are not flimsy and I expect them to last a while. Assembling the entire kits is as easy as putting together lego blocks and should take no more than five minutes.
Installing the base of the frame into the undercounter floor is where you will spend most of your time depending on how much space you have to get it installed and how easy the access to that space is. For us, not much of wiggle room which leads to more effort/time than ideal. But not even close to being a show stopper. Having said this, the key before buying is to do a good job measuring the space where this unit will be installed. Make sure you know how you will install this, understand the three dimensional implications and recognize anything that gets in the way to prevent later regrets.
As for the usage of the system, the slide in and out works great. The bins are just about the right size for our needs but if you have a large family that generates quite a bit of trash, you may need to empty the bins more frequently. The bonus we got from this system was the two bin system. We quickly modified how we used to do recycling. Previously we had a recycling bin in the garage. Now we use the second bin for recycling items and the first one for regular garbage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rev-A-Shelf double 27 waste container is a quality product. Sets up in 10 minutes and ready to go. Brackets holding containers are very sturdy and includes a handle to quickly grab and slide out. Containers are a nice warm gray color.

We have dogs so having the garbage in a secure location where they can't get to it is a lifesaver. This was fairly easy to set up, it was missing the instructions so we were lucky to find a copy online. All in all a good set up for our family!
