Persona perfection

I have had my persona for 3 months and am so happy. Best decision I've made (as far as embroidery machines go) stitching is amazing, fonts are great. I have not tried the cap frame yet but am hoping to soon. Just one request from brother please bring out a 6x10 frame for the persona

I like the PRS100 but I think is has been hard learning how to get the hat frames on, plus it's hard doing a lot of thread changes.

Have been using my new PRS100 for a month now, love it! The needle threader is awesome, and it stitches beautifully! Really need fast frames to fully take advantage of the open area though.

Embroidery Field

The machine worked perfectly although I have already returned it. I was disappointed that the largest field it would embroider was the 8 inches - I did not see anywhere in the product information that it would only embroider 8 inches. I asked about different hoops and was told none other would work. I then purchased the dream machine as it would cover more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine

I have only had the machine a little over a month and due to all the holiday business, have not had a chance to use it much. I monagramed several sets of towels for gifts and I love it! It's fast, does a beautiful job, and easy offers a variety of letter sizes. I do have some problem threading it because I am short and have problems looping the thread to through the thread guide holes. But putting the machine on a lower table instead if the stand they sell would help with that. My biggest complaint is the bobbin. I don't like having to oil it everyday. I also have problems putting the bobbin back in because the thread picker is in the way. It could use a little tweaking, but it is the perfect machine for a personal embroidery machine!

Lack of hoop

I believe the machine should have come with a 5"x7" hoop. I was also very disappointed that the web site was quite a bit behind the release of the machine. The machine is very good and does everything it is supposed to do. I have come to expect great things from Brother and I am just a little disappointed on this one.

Solid Performer

The PRS-100 is just what I was looking for. It's a super, super machine. It's very innovative. The variety of small hoops is really unique. Stitch quality is outstanding, especially with metallic threads. It's a snap to learn to operate. I've never been a big fan of multi-needle embroidery machines, but I just love my "little" Personna. I couldn't be happier.

Bought this unit one week ago. It took only 2 days to learn the details and to start embroidering logos and other artwork.
I would call this machine versatile and easy to operate.
