Very very stiff and hard to open

I’m very disappointed with this pull-out garbage bin. It arrived already damaged, with visible cracks in the wood. The overall quality feels very poor and cheap. On top of that, the sliding mechanism is extremely stiff and hard to open, which defeats the purpose of having a pull-out garbage system. It doesn’t operate smoothly at all and makes it frustrating to use. Honestly, it feels so poorly made that I don’t even feel like using it. I would not recommend this product.
