I purchased this a couple weeks ago , and my cats absolutely live it. I don't smell the cat box anymore when i walk in the door. Weeks when I work back to back long days, I don't have to worry about the box needing to be cleaned and the cats not using the litter box.
The transition to elspet was so easy. I barely had enough time to set up and fill with litter before they using it.

The spaceship self cleaning litter box has been working for almost 2 months and it is great. Does what is is supposed to do. I ordered the extra piece for the litter storage compartment because I could still smell just a hint of the dirty litter. The additional piece is supposed to help completely stop any smell.
But the piece did not come with installation instructions so I do not know how to put it on. I need instructions. But other than it is great. If I ever get instruction or figure out how to put the added piece on it will be a five star.

I love it!!! But my gray cat is too big for it and I think he knows it. I feel it the entrance was bigger he could fit. But my other 3 cats like it. This cat mama sure does. No more smell. Some litter gets tracked out side of the machine but I don't have to scoop that poop no more.

I'm a senior citizen. I wanted the new automatic litter box so I wouldn't have to get down on all fours to scoop and replace the litter. Not being technically savvy, it took me a week to get the box set up. Including loading the app to my cell phone. I'm still learning about all the buttons, the color of the door, and what they mean. It still requires time to clean and change out the litter. But all in all I am happy with my purchase. You have to remember why you purchased the automatic litter box.

This is my second elspet, and thankful that I had the first one to determine why the new box was continually cleaning and causing us grief. The very back piece that separates the scoop from the litter storage container had come off or was possibly not properly connected, so upon scooping, fell into the litter area and the scoop was picking it up as a problem. After finding the back piece in the litter, I was able to look at the first box, see how it attached, and reattach it to the new box in the back where it belongs. Hopefully that is now fixed. The cats are all leery of this box as it kept beeping and scooping and beeping and scooping. BUT, they do use their elspet and seem to like it! It has been great for controlling litter and smells!
