Good but complicated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, the directions for this thermometer were rather complicated. It took a few read throughs to grasp what I needed to do, for something that ultimately should be really easy to do. It isn’t as fast of a read compared to other thermometers I’ve used. I do appreciate being able to see the temperature on my phone. Great for busy cooks when you have a lot of different things going on at once. I really appreciated it when I was grilling on a hot afternoon, and could stay inside to check the temperature. A breeze to clean.

Awesome for hot days

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this. This comes in handy during hot summer days and you dont want to sweat while checking the temp of your meat on the grill. Just leave the probes in and your good to check from inside the cool house on your phone! Genius!

Experience Steak Perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Experience steak perfection! Set-up was such a breeze, you do not have to use the app for it to work its magic, but it is definitely a benefit. Set the probes up outside and take a seat on the couch with the booster and don’t worry about it losing connectivity because the range is huge! Cleaning was a easy, can either hand wash or throw them in the dishwasher. Absolute hit for value. If you want your steaks or smoked meat to come out perfectly, this is your tool.

Cool and actually very useful gear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more eyeballing to get the perfect temperature. With 2 probes, and the ability to add more for multiple monitors, this should be part of every chefs toolset. While the probe and monitor is nearby for temp checks, the app steps it up for alerts. Medium, medium rare, well done (no way!), and preset based on meats or seafood, the app will alert you when the food reaches the perfect temperature. Compared with a manual thermometer it's on point. Don't forget the probe is hot as ever, don't be silly and grab it with bare hands. Don't ask how that happened. While everything is app based, understandably the base is just for the prob connection and a relay station, maintaining the settings within the monitor would just make it easier. First time user setup was too simply which shouldn't be a showstopper. All in all this should have been part of the grilling toolkit long ago.

Maier cooking easier

It easy to set up and use and the wireless probes make it so convenient to monitor food temperature without constantly opening the oven or grill. The app is helpful and gives accurate reading. Definitely makes cooking meats easier and less stressful.

Premium wireless meat thermometer that provides accurate readings and untethers you from your oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the unboxing of the TempSpike Pro, I was thoroughly impressed. The packaging felt quite premium and very luxurious, especially the velvet cushioning that the thermometer base and probes were safely tucked away in. The thermometer paired quite easily with my phone and the temperature readings were spot on accurate when compared to my old tried and true thermometer. The wireless range allows me to monitor food without hovering over the oven which I personally appreciate with two small kiddos.

It is easy to use , easy to set up and accurate with readings. The temp stick is also very easy to clean and stiore in box
