The four star line has been throughout the last 40 years!! No wonder its a world wide favorite. This knife is excellent for boning and skinning flesh from meats and fish. It will cut the meat cleanly. the flexibility of this blade aids in that process. the four star line is a quality, durable sharp German steel. the handle is smooth and comfortable. Excellent knife to have for specific tasks in the kitchen.

A boning is also a filleting.

I have this Four Star boning knife, and I enjoyed using it. I even used it for filleting because it is not too long for my hand. I can trol the blade better than a longer one. This is such a great knife and I could use it to slice fruits and vegetables as well.

This is a great knife for poultry and meat. The flexible blade and thin narrow tapered end permit greater control as you work around muscle and bone. Comfortable molded handle and weight.

Just enough flex

I like this knife because it has just enough flex to get a chicken breast out in one big beautiful piece. A super rigid knife would be great at the joints but not so much at the rib bones. These are small nuances, but if you want a knife that meets the needs of professional chef's then this one should be top on your list. Softer, easy-to-grip round-edged handle. Good weight.

This boning knife is a great addition to your knife collection. Has just enough flex to work around chicken, beef and lamb bones. The molded handle is smooth and feels secure in your hand for these messy jobs.

Great boning knife! It’s lightweight handle makes it easy to hold when breaking down chickens. We also use it to butterfly open chicken breast and pork chops.

Excellent Boning Knife

It's the perfect tool for working around chicken, roast or ham bones. It's flexible, but very sharp, always a clean cut. Because the handle does not have rivets, it's a little lighter which is perfect for a boning knife; less wear and tear on your hand.
Four Star is forged high carbon German steel in Germany the same as Pro so you know it's going to be sharp, stay sharp and last a lifetime.
