Worst iMac

Bought the 21.5" Intel Core i5 Dual-Core 7th Gen 2.3GHz iMac 6months ago. It takes 40secs to open my internet explorer and about 30secs to open my MS Word. Mid-way into my MS Word typing, it’ll freeze and display a rainbow cycle. I’ve spent over 20hrs cumulatively with Apple trying to troubleshoot it to no avail. I went to an Apple authorized repair agent and was told the hardware in this this particular iMac is very slow and that I need to upgrade to Western Digital Blue 1TB Drive to address the slow performance. A terrible waste of $.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far I find it quite different from the machine I had. When our computers are being replaced you should have products on hand so that we can receive the same model or something similar. I should not have had to pay more that $500.00 to get another quite different computer. I am extremely disappointed.

Well packaged, easy set up. Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Everything working well - very pleased with purchase and also pleased by knowledgeable service at Best Buy

iMac deshtop purchase

I took a long time researching my purchase. I was taken care of quickly in the store and all my questions were answered in a friendly and professional. While they went to get my purchase from the warehouse another associate asked if they could help me. I was well taken care of and appreciate it during covid.
