Tried to connect to two monitors via USB-C Gen 2 dock, mouse, keyboard works, but neither monitor light up. Switched to another USB-C dock, monitors worked, but laptop monitor stayed on even with lid closed. This is not the first time I have problem with Lenovo laptop and Lenovo Dock not working. I Have been buying Lenovo for years. Price keeps going up while QC goes down hill. Seriously considering switching to Dell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My thinkpad is fast, which is great but it also freezes up, and sometimes won't shutdown properly. When it won't shutdown properly it just sits there with a blank screen and won't boot up properly either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from a X390 (previously X230 & X250) to a T14 which finally combines all the standard essentials: 1920x1080 display, Ethernet, micro SD and HDMI ports, USB-C charging and expandable RAM. Dual-boot Linux/Windows works well. Would recommend paying extra for the brightest display if using the T14 in sunlit areas.

The machine came with pre-installed windows 10 which ungraded to windows 11 with the first booting. The laptop is great when it performs but there are problems or software glitches. The laptop randomly hangs, one or the other application doesn't start after turning on the laptop including connecting to wifi. If I press restart, the system goes in a loop but never restarts and eventually I have to shut down and restart again. For some time the brightness buttons F5 and F6 worked but doesn't work all the times. Another downside is the battery life, it is unbelievably bad. For a new laptop, the battery life is only about 2.5 hours or less. I contacted Lenovo and the technician put in a new battery but the battery life is the same as before.
