Don't let the AMD label scare you, this multi-threaded system easily keeps up with the X1Carbon Gen6 I am moving off of. And the one-cable connect (power, display USB audio to my 4K monitor is a great convenience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Very,very quiet. Heats less than many similar competitors. This AMD is very powerful processor. T14 is nominally thicker and heavier that T14s, but has better cooling, ability to add more me memory and it is cheaper.
Cons: Took it 4.5 months to be delivered. Took it 15+ days and 3 calls to Lenovo to ship it from factory to my home. Hopefully this supply chain will be improved, but the machine is great. One small problem, after getting from sleep, network card is slow to connect to wireless. It connects, but it takes 15 sec, some SW already starts complaining. That never happened on any of my 1001 devices in the last 20 years. Not sure why, but even if it is just a setting, it should not happen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very, very pleased with our new ThinkPad T14 - we had it customized with a faster chip and more RAM which meant it took a bit of time to get to us but it was well worth the wait. It is a speed demon and very easy to use with ports that allow connectivity to everything (a big issue with Mac products). The only thing they need to work on is the speaker quality - it should be better with all the zoom calls we are now involved with!

Typing feels great, features are neat & functional, touchscreen is responsive, lots of ports, Bluetooth & WiFi chipset are solid (never had a disconnect), super fast charging (awesome & the Vantage app is super useful), great build quality and overall great experience. Also love the fact we get another RAM slot for future upgrade, if needed.

Some issues I would address is that the laptop does feel hot at times so the fan gets a bit loud (not that bad, you'll get use to it), Battery life isn't that bad around 8-10 hour mark (does feel like it drains fast though), would of liked it having a larger battery. Touchpad is a bit unresponsive at times (not common occurrence just time to time but it isn't much of an issue, it's still functional & using a mouse/trackpoint so it's all good).
Overall you'll enjoy this laptop.
