Great noise cancelling in-ear headphones. The transparency mode works great for an outdoor run (so you can hear cars, bikes, etc). Touch controls are a little awkward when you’re on the move but you get used to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nightmare - bounce between Apple and BestBuy

I got the AirPods when they are on sale for 1 day. The product looks good and sounds great, but the serial number is invalid in the Apple check device coverage site. I went to BestBuy and they printed a report saying the serial number is valid. BestBuy asked me to go to an Apple Store to get it fixed. I went to the Apple Store and they said the Airpods were real, but no one could change the purchased to the correct date. The system would not allow it. Apple said BestBuy did not properly activate the AirPods in their system. I ended up talking to multiple persons in Apple Support on the phone, but no one could get it done. Currently, an Apple Engineering callback is scheduled in the next few days. Hopefully there is a solution. Meanwhile, the return window is closing….
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had the regular old style AirPods for ages now, and never felt like I’d notice the upgrade the Pro version would bring.
When my old headphones wore out, I decided it was time to take the plunge. Based on reviews I’d seen from some pretty trustworthy tech channels on YT.
One week down and I have to say I am blown away. The depth of sound these offer is insane. If you listen to anything even remotely bass-heavy, it makes everything feel super punchy, while not losing any of the highs. The Noise Cancellation is also quite remarkable. I didn’t think it was the sort of thing I’d find myself using, but the perfect test run was using the headphones while walking past construction in my neighbourhood, and just feeling all the noise get pushed out while not losing any of the sharp detail in the sound quality. Also tested them on packed public transit, and could just barely make out someone talking on the phone across the aisle from me, but road noise and engine noise were just gone.
Also tested them out over Bluetooth with my Nintendo Switch and they work just as well. The Noise Cancellation mode even works on there too!

Time will tell if they hold up with regular usage, but I’m not worried about that since I got the Geek Squad coverage on mine.
Overall, could not recommend these enough. The price tag is up there, but if you’re in the market for new earphones and want something truly brilliant, go for it.

Exactly What I Needed!

I finally made the jump to truly wireless headphones, and chose the Airpods Pro (2nd Gen) specifically because of the sound quality and the "transparency mode". I cycle to work regularly, and have been blasting music from my iPhone while I ride. This kills my battery and I'm sure disrupts others. With transparency mode I can listen to my music privately, and hear what is going on around me. It actually works!
The sound quality is very good, I feel like I am sitting in the room with the band around me.
Noise cancellation was way better than I expected. It blocks out my wife's voice really well. LOL
I was worried about fit, but the medium buds fit well. They fell did fall out when I was taking a layer off during a ride, but I won't make that mistake again.
Overall, these are a great new piece of gear, and they actually work the way they are supposed to.

Best for IPhone users

If you have an iPhone, I definitely recommend AirPods Pro 2. Sound quality is much improved over the previous generation and the ANC is top tier. Also I like the fact that you can track down the case with precision tracking.

Disappointed that it will connect to lg oled Bluetooth tv but no sound. The ear pod 2nd generation connected with no problem with sound. For some reason the ear pod pro 2 won’t . Every other ear bud I connected had no problem with sound.
