[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging states that they're new. I'm not sure what's new about them as the verbiage is ambiguous. Aside from that, the Duracell batteries worked as intended and I would purchase them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened this I could smell a strong smell of some kind. I am guessing that is from the coating that was put on to prevent kids from swallowing it. As a mom of 4, with 2 being very young yet, I appreciate these changes. It is very dangerous for a kid to swallow these so I plan to only buy these in the future. I have been sharing this with others as well because I think this is so great to keep babies safe! The packaging and the bitter coating were perfect changes.
