Game Changer for the "New Normal"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opening the box, I was excited for a new toy. I love technology and haven't had a tablet in a while. But I was hesitant about how much this would actually get used. But the stunning screen distracted me from that thought initially.
First the easy stuff: no shock this screen in incredible. Samsung keeps making the best screens in the business. 120hz really is all it's cracked up to be. The speakers are awesome. I've used them in some large rooms and they are pretty good. Where others have been shocked the music was coming from a tablet. The s pen is what you expect it to be, a killer accessory that becomes a must use. With the 9ms response time writing on it in a dream. The keyboard is someone fantastic. I'm a bit picky with keyboards (preferring mechanical desktop ones) but this holds its own for it's size and is almost fun to type on. Battery life is insane, no shock there.
Now, can this actually replace your laptop? The short answer is maybe. For me personally, DeX is what I have been missing on a tablet to make the transition. I had a Tab S3 and just couldn't fully replace the laptop with it. But DeX really is game changing for tablets. I have been using this everyday at work (I'm a teacher) and it has been my savior. It's super quick, handles the basic tasks I need, and best of all I can keep a ton of things open without any slowdowns. The s pen has allowed me to give my students feedback on work without having to collect papers, which has been a game changer. I was struggling at work tech-wise, but the S7+ saved me. One thing I will say, as others have commented, the s pen slot on the case is amazing but can be hard to get used to without looking. Took me a few days.
Is this the tablet for you? If you are a teacher or closely related field, absolutely just go get it right now. It's light,easy to carry, well over a full day battert use, not to mention it's just a beautiful device.
Go pick this up for yourself or a loved one, you won't be disappointed.

The release of Galaxy Tab S7 series really marks the beginning of a new era for the Android tablets. It is a first device in its class with no compromises that can successfully compete with Apple (and defeat it).
Let me explain why I say this:
• Awesome 120hz refresh screen, with amazing colors and resolution. Never available before on Android tablets. Screen is much better than the iPad’s one. Everything is so smooth! In my day-to-day usage I had no issues with brightness or false taps and the image is just amazing.
• We are getting Snapdragon 865+ which is the latest and the most advanced processor available today. Not a single task that I have thrown on this thing had any issues; everything works smooth and fast.
• Rear Camera is good enough to scan a document or to take a meeting picture.
• Front camera is great for the meetings and is located in a perfect place!
• A pen is just awesome, super-fast response and great ergonomics. I do not think I will ever use a paper notebook again.
• Detachable keyboard is great, the size of the touchpad is descent, so with addition of the DEX UI it’s a full replacement for my PC when I’m traveling somewhere.
• Battery life is good enough to live through an entire day of heavy usage.
• Sound is one of the best I have ever heard on any tablet! Very clear, loud with just the right amount of base to it! Watching a tv show or playing a game is very immersive because of that.
• Samsung’s software is well optimized and provides the best experience possible. Yes, it is true, some side apps are not optimized to work with android tablets. But things are quickly getting better!

Tab that delivers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally i can say Samsung has hit the mark with Galaxy Tab S7 + whose design bears more than a passing resemblance to other high end tablets the hardware looks and feels great with flat edges. The sides have a polished chrome-like look, while the metal rear panel is flat in both shape and finish. The materials are top notch and fitted together perfectly. The Super AMOLED display on the the 7+ is beautiful and can be matched to high end Galaxy phones. The only issue i have with the display is the aspect ratio of 16:10 that the tab brings which is smaller than other high end tabs in the market its fine when watching movies or playing YouTube but while putting it to work it feels a bit small. The best part is the detachable keyboard and there’s still a part of the case protecting the back and providing a kickstand for watching video or drawing using the S-Pen. The keyboard also has a slot to hold the pen when carrying. The Pen is quiet similar to the pen on my Galaxy Note in terms of functionality and style. The Qualcomm Snapgragon inside the Tab is powerful and the tab did not show any slowdown while bouncing between apps and tabs in the browsers
Battery life, though, is a mixed bag. if i use the tab for reading books or articles, browsing the web, watching video, etc. S7 Plus have no trouble lasting 10 hours or more between charges. But when I use them as workstations in place of a laptop, that number plummets to less than four or five hours. it does support fast charging but Samsung decided to include the slower charger. The tab was shipped with Andriod 10.
The camera is ok and not the one found on the Galaxy series phones but way better than my laptop. Over all i feel its a good Tablet but for the price there could be some improvements.

Best tablet, almost replaces laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I got the Tab S7+ with the keyboard I haven't gone a day without using it. I usually keep a tablet with keyboard cover next to the couch for research and media consumption, and pull out my laptop when I need to perform more intense tasks or do some remote work from home. With the S7+ and the accompanying keyboard with trackpad I have been able to virtually replace both. The tablet is amazing for an android tablet with its amazing screen quality and the buttery smooth 120hz screen makes navigating the UI very satisfying. From casual couch research and gaming to streaming video and productivity it never faultered. When it comes to more task based work with multiple apps and windows open the DeX mode really shines. I can have multiple windowed apps running without having to constantly switch between them. I have found it to be very user friendly and almost like a laptop experience, especially due to the comfort and size of the keyboard and trackpad. I can take the tablet on jobs with me and use the pen for note taking and have them transcribed to computer text for later legibility. The pen tucks nicely into a special flap at the top edge of the magnetic cover so you don't have any worries of it detaching and getting lost. If you want a bigger screen experience you can even broadcast the screen to compatible smart tvs. The only thing I would improve is the keyboard rigidity for better use on more surfaces and maybe add a backlight option to the keyboard.

Best Android Tab Ever

Now, I received the new galaxy tab 7+ with keyboard, it was huge in size but yet fit perfectly in my hand and it had a keyboard with it, which was good, and better is I got tab case too. It's a great deal to get this amazing huge tab with everything for such a price. It's considerably bigger than my current tablet and very well made. In my limited use, the camera seems to be ok.
I like how fast, the device is. It was smooth with a 120hZ screen refresh rate. It was buttery smooth with a big screen, I can definitely feel the difference. Taking about big things, audio on this device is worth mentioning. The four speakers available on the device provide loud and clear volume. The quality of the audio is near perfect for movies, songs, games, and series.
The battery life of the device is really good. I could use this device for 10 hrs watching 3 movies. This is a workhorse. I was able to multitask like, watch videos, and check my Gmail all at the same time.

This device comes with a pen that is a lot better than the old one. It fast, smooth, and easy to grip. I also got a case and keypad case. The setup was pretty simple and I was majorly using the keyboard for email and document preparation purposes.
Now I stopped using my in-display keyboard altogether. It's also a very good use to cover the tab as well.
The case comes with a flexible stand which I can angle the tab to my convenience while watching movies.

I love the stand! Keyboard, not so much.

the reason i gave 3 stars is because of the trackpad. it doesn't give me a full laptop experience due to some random bugs. the scrolling tends to keep going in one direction even though i'd try to stop it or go back in the opposite direction. i also don't like that the keyboard doesn't stay magnetically closed. it just slides up and down and randomly turns on the tablet.
but i do love the stand for viewing content and drawing. the keyboard portion needs some more touching-up for the price.

Great Accessory, but Pricey

the new keyboard cover for this year's s7+ is a great accessory. it's a big upgrade over last year's s6. the new, full-size magnetic base holds everything in place without worry. my only complaint is the high price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had previously a Galaxy TAB A with a Bluetooth Keyboard from another company and it worked but I continuously had disconnections and for some reason, when I changed the keyboard configuration to write in another language, it was a mess. Since I have my Galaxy TAB S7 +, I bought it as a bundle and I am not regretting it. It's easy to clip on, with no issue concerning the battery of the keyboard as it is powered by the tablet.
I have not seen any drop of the battery when the keyboard is on and I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pad. I write a lot as I use the tablet. I do feel like a PC and I really fancy that. I have to agree that the keyboard has a certain weight, but nothing that would drop its rating.
I have to admit, to make it perfect, a backlighting keyboard would have been better.
Overall I am satisfied with the product.
