I have only used this tool once but it worked beautifully searing perfectly a large fillet of Ahi ( Yellow fin Tuna). I sprayed the grate with a non stick spray before using it and the fish did not stick as I turned it over. I will try meat on the next use. Based on how it worked with fish, I believe meat will be easy to sear perfectly.

The first sear grate was damaged during shipping, but was quickly replaced with a new grate. Does a very good job, when you want grill marks on your steaks
