Sleek, Smart and Secure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Alfred DB1S Smart Lock with Key in black finish from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
I am quite impressed by the sleek design of this smart lock and I really like the color, goes well with our front door. This smart lock also came with 2 physical keys which is nice to have as a backup option. I absolutely love how we can control our front door using the Alfred Home App. For someone who keeps forgetting if I locked the door or not, this smart lock is just PERFECT! It will save me some trips back home and all the stress that comes along. The option of up to 20 unique programmable pin codes is perfect for the times when we are away on vacation and need a friend to access the house.
And my favourite feature has to be the auto locking so the smart lock takes care of ensuring that the door is locked in case I forgot.
The Alfred Smart lock has certainly upgraded our front door entry and we are loving it!
They have a model with RFID as well and I would like to try it out for our other entry door. I definitely recommend Alfred touch screen Smart Locks to anyone who is looking to upgrade their traditional door locks.

Great Smart Lock!

It wasn’t an item I ever thought to buy on my own because I didn’t think it was needed, and honestly was a little leery of using something digital to secure my house. I was pleasanlty surprised, and glad I was able to test it out!
Pros:
- Not connected to a network, so no security worries.
- Easy to install with interactive instructions that made it great for visual learners.
- Quality seems great.

Cons:
- Not connected to a network, so it can’t be opened remotely.
-It took a little extra work to install as my husband had to drill a little bit into the door frame to get the locking mechanism to fit. Not really a huge con though.

Usage/Experience:
After installing the app and getting it connected, it’s pretty easy to use. You can set a timer for when you want to lock to automatically lock. You can set up multiple different codes for different people. I thought there was a way to view who unlocked the door according to the code they put in, but I can’t find that function on the app. You can also unlock it by using the app and being next to the door. If needed, there are also 2 keys included.

I’ve really enjoyed having this lock. I really like the timer function because we don’t have to second guess whether or not we locked the door.

Never get locked out of your house again!

The quality build is great and it is very easy to install. Their software has logging and tracking, along with many automations you can set and program. Can’t believe I went this long without a smart lock.
