Convenient, safe and peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had mine installed for a week, love it! It has rained heavily two days this week, there was no interrupted access. My concerns were appeased. Easy to install and set up. Convenience using the latest technology while providing security and peace of mind. The App has features that are easy to navigate. Blue tooth convenience, with back up key access should battery die. Codes can be created for 24 hour periods, this provides access for family members to stop by if necessary, yet continues to provide privacy after the 24 hours are up. Highly recommend it.

Quick and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this lock makes it easy to keep our house secure. With one touch locking, I can leave the house quickly by pressing any key. To unlock, there is a code, but if you don’t want people to know your code, as long as it is included in a string of numbers, the door will unlock. This is an added level of security for us. We can also program different codes for different people. Finally, there is a keychain that we can give to folks who need to come in, but can’t remember the code. This allows them to scan and enter. The lock announces when it is open and closed. There is also a manual knob on the back, so I can quickly see if it is open or closed. I feel very safe with this lock on our front door. I’m excited that I won’t need to bring a house key with me when I leave to go for a run or a bike ride without a bag!

Very convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first foray into the world of smart locks and keyless entry, but now I can’t go back. I dreaded the task of installing it, but my husband managed just fine with some instructions. It is so convenient not to have to worry about having the keys out when I haul bags of groceries from my car to the front door or when I go on a quick school run. I like and appreciate the auto-lock feature. And I finally don’t have to worry about dropping copies of keys at our pet-sitting company before we go on a trip (and picking them up after.) I just program a code and let them know - it saves me so much time and is so worth it. The lock looks sleek on the outside even though it doesn’t match my door, lol

Makes my home feel so much safer. Super easy set up on Smart phones. People of all ages are able to follow along with the process. The touchpad is very reactive and I have not had any issues in different types of weather. Great product for those who want a little extra security but improved technology!

Perfect for helping to turn my home into more of a smart home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m currently in the process of turning my home into more of a smart home, and this Alfred DB1S Smart Lock with Key has been the perfect addition. For starters the look of this smart lock is so modern and reminds me of the look of a smart phone. It was very easy to install, all I had to do was follow the instructions on the install guide in the BILT app. It has a smooth touchscreen keypad, that lights up when it’s activated, and it only requires 4 AA batteries to get 12 months of usage out of it. I personally like that I can use a one-touch entry with my phone to easily unlock my front door.

This is meant to take the place of an already existing deadbolt, which I did not have, so installation was a little harder than other reviewers. Definitely give yourself more time and pick a day where the weather is agreeable. It does look like and is easy to use. Batteries were included!
