Great lock for families

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy this lock because it's easy to use. It's easy for each one of my family to use. I like that you are able to lock and unlock it by using your phone, it make getting into the house with your hands full a lot easier than having to search for keys or search for the right key.

I took it to my ex-husbands' house to use on the door for our daughters' safety. I like it. It's simple to use and for my ex-husband it was easy to install and operate. I would recommend this product and may purchase another one in the future.

Great smart lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a little while for it come in. I read all of the instructions then went ahead and watched a video on how to install the Alfred smart lock. Once I watched the video it was easy to install and program it. I was really happy with the smart lock and smooth finish which is nice. Overall really good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is top-notch. I've owned other electronic locks that didn't last very long or frequently malfunctioned. But this? THIS is a winner. Everything is very clearly described, easy to install, and very chic. The features are amazing. Bluetooth to open, a physical key, pin pad or via the app. I cannot recommend it enough!

Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was told that installing it was a little tricky, but was still successfully installed in an evening. The app that you use with it is very simple, but I do keep having trouble with using with a keycode. I did successfully change it from the default, but after the first night i cant get it to work. Really cool overall. Helpul especially when i am unloading a bunch of shopping especially.

Easy for a beginner DIY installer or a pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Alfred to try in exchange for my honest review.
My 18 year old son decided to do the installation on this lock while I observed. The installation went well. He downloaded the 3D instruction via scanning the included pamphlet. He also installed the Alfred app from the Google Play store on to my device so I could manage the lock via my phone and also with Bluetooth. The instructions made the process of installing a snap. He did have a short struggle figuring out which screw was matching the ones in the model. He suggested individual bags for the very different screws. I did notice that the installation pamphlet contained all of the included parts and you could lay them out on the diagram and match them up if you also used the paper instructions. He had chosen 3D only. Even with the minor setback the whole process from start to finish was really simple with the 3D instructions.
He set up a sample pin code for my review video and then set up a more permanent code afterwards. It has been real easy to use. I like that the lock set comes with an actual pair of hard keys as an option. They are a useful alternative in so many different scenarios. There is also a USB port that I have not tried yet but I will and I will update my review with a follow up to give my experience with the batteries. I would like to see how long they last and see if the indicators work to alert me that the batteries are low. If all else fails the other option for power is a USB port on the bottom underside of the display panel that allows a USB corded power bank to plug in and give it enough power to get in.
This is a nice looking lock very basic. There is an upgrade option to add another product that they sell called a bridge to add more features such as access with Alexa or Google voice.
