A great update from traditional locks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Alfred DB1S Smart Lock with Key in black from Influenster. The sleek design and color perfectly complement our front door. The inclusion of 2 physical keys is a nice backup. Controlling the lock via the Alfred Home App is convenient, especially for forgetful moments. With up to 20 programmable pin codes, it’s ideal for granting access to trusted individuals while away.
The auto-lock feature adds peace of mind. Overall, this smart lock has elevated our home security. Highly recommend for those looking to upgrade their locks.

A Sleek Modern Upgrade to my Front Door!

I’ve been looking for ways to upgrade my front door and this became the perfect opportunity! First let me say that the packaging is fabulous! The instructions were simple and easy to follow especially if you’re replacing an existing deadbolt. Installation was fast and easy. Adding this product forced me to change out my old gold hardware, which has resulted in a sleek modern upgrade to my front door!
I no longer have to worry about giving out keys to a dog sitter or someone housesitting, I’m now able to just give them their own specific code! For me, the fact that I don’t have to worry about constantly misplacing my keys is a godsend!
Great product and I highly recommend it!

Brilliant Technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alfred Smart Home Touchscreen Deadbolt is absolutely brilliant technology. As the mom/caregiver of a disabled adult and an elderly parent, this lock has been an asset to my home. The ability to create and change separate passcodes makes access to my home by nurses and agencies easy without the hassle of passing out keys. The installation was not difficult however, having a handyman on your friends list would not hurt. Programming is easy too. I was also surprised that it didn't call for lithium batteries. I will have to see how long before it's time to change the batteries. Good stuff!

Safe and secure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this lock and installed it and absolutely love it. It comes with very specific directions and even a plate to istall it. Installation was fairly simple. I love the fact that you can use is with the code but, if prefer, can also use a key. The key hole is hidden and exposed by moving the round know to the side. I love the fact that you can set a lot of codes for family, workers, etc. And that they can also be timed as temporary or just a one time, etc. You can also set it for auto lock so you will never leave the door unlocked. There are many more features and benefits to this lock. It is one that I highly recommend.

Great once set up

The ease definitely doesn't come during setup and installation, as there are many instructions to follow and parts to be careful with. I do like the sleek look once installed though. It's great for people who want to go out without keys or the bulk of a bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never really considered purchasing a smart lock before, but now that I have it I really like it a lot. I think for people who need to walk from their car to their door, the ability to unlock the door before you get to it, is a great safety feature. I don't have to fumble with keys carrying the groceries inside. Also, if you have kids, babysitters, dog walkers etc needing access, you no longer have to have a million keys made, and can specify what times they have access. Installation was fairly simple. Our only real struggle came with adding additional users - there were not really any instructions on the app and it took us a while to figure it out, but we got there. Very happy to review this for influenster and Alfred, in exchange for my honest review.

Very sleek smart lock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are actually loving this smart lock/smart deadbolt, we decided to put on the front door of our home. The Alfred Smart lock is great. And ultimately, I think one of the standout features is that you can let someone into your home, like a pet-sitter or a babysitter, by simply locking and unlocking the front door through the Alfred app. Or if you don’t want to give someone a key to get Access you can give them a code that they can enter on the keypad. It’s all very smart and on top of it there is a feature that keeps track of dates and times and who is accessing the lock and how. So it will let you know if people are using a key or a code to access the lock.
