[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought thios laptop with the AMD Ryzen 7 5000 series, and I couldn't be more happy with the machine I've got for the price I've paid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 is a perfect laptop for my budding middle-schooler. It is compact and light, has a battery that can easily last the whole school day, has the right balance of performance and price, and is expandable (more RAM and storage can be added as needed). Its strongest features relative to much of the competition are the three buttons just above the touchpad and the trackpoint in the middle of the keyboard. We can only wish this laptop had a real (i.e., scissor switch) keyboard and more USB ports (1 USB-C and 2 USB-A is barely enough for everyday use and woefully inadequate for attaching external drives and other additional peripherals). As a side note, running this laptop at all-core 100% CPU load with external drives attached is not advised as the 65 watts of power supplied by the power adapter may not be enough, leading to a "screen of death".
Wanting to transition from a MacBook to a PC Windows laptop, we thought the ThinkPad we purchased was a good pick. I made some upgrades to this ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 AMD (14”) and we were excited to start working on it. We have since encountered so much bloatware, lag, and a number of other issues that we now regret getting this ThinkPad. We really feel duped.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this computer! Runs way faster than any other I’ve had recently and everything works smoothly and easily. Very easy set up and simple to use. Only real problem I’ve had is the battery life which is a little shorter than I would have liked however it’s not a huge deal. Great purchase for students and businesses alike!
