WOW, I’m really impressed with the 4080 super. Being able to run Cyberpunk on raytracing overdrive and averaging 90FPS is just wild to me. I didn’t really need to upgrade cause I had a 3070 ti but I’m “super” glad I did.
This thing can push some serious graphics and I have it paired with a i7-13700k. I'm play games with maximum effort. I have a alienware qd-ol ultra wide and I'm getting max frames as 165hz at ultra settings. And this is my first Gaming PC I built.
The card works, but I had to remove the fans and shroud just to big. I put a Water Block on it and now it fits. They wanted a review before I finished my refresh. I can’t wait for my new motherboard to get here so I can actually put this thing to the test.
Upgraded from an RTX 3090. Pleasantly surprised at the uplift this TUF 4080 Super OC provides. Dependent on the game, I saw as much as a 50% gain in FPS. Very happy with this card. An wow, it’s a big card. Beefy! It loves munching on 4K games.
Had this GPU for short time and definitely see a difference over prior RTX 3090. Mostly running MSFS 2020 flight sim. Unlike most video games MSFS 2020 like most other flightsim software like XPlane12 run several programs at once relying heavily on CPU and GPU. This GPU performs outstanding especially when running with DLSS 3.7. I currently run a INTEL 10700K which is my main bottleneck until upgrading soon to Z790 MOBO and a 14th gen CPU. Nonetheless this card is a great addition to my rig. Sorry no benchmarks. I rely solely on FPS and smoothness in game. FPS's of 40-60 in MSFS is considered great.
Make sure your case and power supply can handle it. I have a full tower and it was a squeeze. But, I got it vertically mounted and it looks great. Not a fan of the supplied pigtail power cable. I had to buy one that reached. I’m glad I waited for it.
