My wife wanted an ice maker (our fridge isn't plumbed in), and this has perfectly fit the bill. It's easy to add water to, it starts making ice quickly, it doesn't drive up our electricity costs, and it's not too loud. If you need a standalone ice maker, it's hard to beat.

We recently picked up the GoveeLife Smart Countertop Ice Maker 1S, and it’s been a great addition to our kitchen. It makes ice fast — about 9 cubes every 6 minutes — and you can choose from three different sizes. The self-cleaning feature is super convenient, and we love that we can control it from the Govee app or even with Alexa. It’s not refrigerated, so the ice melts if left sitting too long, but for day-to-day use, it’s perfect. My wife absolutely loves it — it’s become one of her favorite kitchen gadgets.

My wife and I were excited about receiving our new ice maker by Govee but to our disappointment the ice maker is very loud and doesn’t keep ice bucket full as expected. Not very happy with this product

The ice does not fall in and so no new ice is made. this happens when it's half full so you never get a full bucket of ice. Everything else works as it should. Dissapointed.

Quality product that does a great job making ice quick! Only downside which is expected with these types of machines is the ice is kind of "wet" making it difficult to freeze for long term. But the purpose I bought this for was for parties where we need ice in a pinch and it worka perfectly for that!
