Good sound, annoying prompts

I didn't expect the speaker to be as massive both in size and weight. I intended it to be my listening-in-my-office speaker but it's too loud and you hear dead air at low volumes (the volume I would listen to at my desk) so it's my at-home speaker to blast music. Sound is good and bass is pretty decent.
What I heavily dislike are the power on/off chimes and voice prompts. The volume on that cannot be adjusted. Everyone and their dog will know hear it turn on/off. Otherwise, I've had Monster before and the speakers are underrated.

Nice speakers, Clear crisp sound, like the size and great price. Had a bit of trouble with party pairing but when I followed the step by step instructions they paired without a problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just received this when it was going for $69 CAD - which is an incredible price for the power out, and charging accessories. The quality is on par with UE, and Sony, Bose. Make sure you have audio playback that supports EQ. There isn t software support, but for that price! You can’t complain. Software dev costs extra money for companies and end user pays for it. When on SALE!! Buy buy buy!!! There’s nothing comparable.

I purchased Monster DNA Max Portable Bluetooth Wireless speaker on December 26, 2023 at best buy store, which located at Mississauga, Ontario Canada. After less than two months, the speaker can't be charged nor turned on. I contacted to the manufacturer about the issue, but no one reply back to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1. Order multiple for the "party connect option".
When using even 2 at the same time the audio quality is absolute garbage, choppy, static sound.
2. Attempted to reach out to Monster (the manufacturer) for some troubleshooting help (since there isn't any in the manual). Their idea of help was to post my issue to a public message board so that the general (unpaid) public could help.

You can hear whooshing static noise loudly! Very annoying and unsettling. Ruins the sound quality and experience. Don't buy this speaker! Just go for a JBL or Sony or even skullcandy! Run from this garbage if it wasn't for that awful hissing/static noise then this would be a good speaker. You can even hear it once you pause the music.

Nice speaker, clear sound, not huge bass but I prefer that. Having multiple would be very cool and seem easy to set up. Really nice packaging!
Speaker looks nice, feels sturdy, its big and heavy. I use the handling cord it seems strong but im gentle with it. Its more of a safety if you do drop it, the cords around your wrist.
The charging cord and wireless base are top notch. The wireless base makes the speaker very clean looking while always charged.
The packaging is fancy, the sound is clear, wide and loud. The speaker feels good, looks good, handles well.
Would be great if I had another, fill the house with them.

Doesn't have outstanding sound quality, but it's not bad either. It has good volume, but you can definitely notice the lack of bass.
