I purchased the 8000 charger and it now tells me most of my batteries are bad, but I can put them in the old charger, Duracell 500 and they charge fine, just takes a long time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best value for the money. Duracell is the best battery brand. My only choice when needing a battery for any device. Outstanding quality and compatibility. Great packaging. And I love that they care about the impact on the environment.
