I have used this type tent for years at the beach. This one is by far the easiest one I have ever used! I love that it is so easy for one person to pop up. I’m 65 years old and had no problem at all! I love it.
This is actually quite easy to put up alone in just a few minutes. The construction seems quite good and the added loops on the canopy for tie-down ability is a great addition.
I have never owned a canopy before, so it's hard to compare, but I am completely satisfied with this one. I only bought it bc I have an albino son that requires extra protection from the sun. I took this to the beach and set it up all by myself, for the most part. Husband wasn't able to make the trip and tht made me nervous knowing I'd be doing all the heavy lifting, but it went great! A stranger offered to help me, so he helped with getting canopy cover on and tying it down. I easily could've handled it, but the wind was making it a little harder for one person. Taking it down is even easier. And I love the wheeled bag. It's heavy, but the wheels are great on flat surface.
We bought this to take with us to the beach and have for tailgating, pool parties, bbqs - you name it. It's really easy to set up, although I'm not sure I would recommend one person doing it. It's so large that it's a little difficult to get it stretched out and then expand the legs yourself. Two people is ideal. But with two of us, it only takes about 5 minutes or less to set up. The most difficult part is getting inside to pop the top up once you've expanded the width.
The legs have multiple heights that they will adjust up to. The canopy itself is secured with a whole lot of Velcro straps. It has a shiny metallic layer on the inside to reflect heat back out. Comes with small metal stakes to stake into the ground. The wheel bag is AWESOME, although I couldn't get the canopy back in there along with the frame. You'd have to be a master at folding.
So far so good! Took 2 to set it up because we don’t have things to work around on our deck (& not knock over while expanding it), but only 1 to take it down & likely will figure out an easier way to get it opened/ready and then move to deck area. We also need to buy weights for the legs since we can’t stake it down, but I’m very happy with it!
