[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad work station did not have sufficient ports for my application. It has 2 thunderbolt, a HDMI, a usb C, usb A and a memory card reader. There was no ethernet port. I purchased the dock as a way to get a ethernet port. I immediately found that with the Thunderbolt 4 Smart Dock it was very easy to disconnect the dock when I needed to use the work station off site. I just had to disconnect the thunderbolt connection to the dock and could leave the rest of my desk setup.
I checked with Lenovo sales to insure that this dock was compatible with my work station. I now know that the dock ships with a 92 watt power supply and my work station wants a 170 watt power supply. Disappointing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo Universal Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station works great with my Lenovo Thinkpad X13 gen 2. I have 2 Thinkvision 27” monitors, a wireless keyboard, and mouse hooked to the docking station. I use this setup daily at work. It is an awesome setup that promotes productivity. Our entire office runs on Lenovo laptops and docking stations.
