(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) To my pleasant surprise everything just worked perfectly right out of the box. I didn't make use of its remote management features though. So if you need it for personal use, maybe consider the regular non-Smart version.

Power feed from dock to my ThinkPad is not sufficient to power the laptop! Major disappointment in an otherwise fine product.
