A Major Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very overdue for an upgrade and, wow, what an upgrade this is over my old Samsung soundbar.
My first impression after opening the box was that this thing is massive in comparison with other soundbars I've had in the past. Not only is it large, but it's also very heavy; So heavy that I didnt feel comfortable mounting it directly to the TV like I had done with my old soundbar. I appreciate the heavy-duty wall mount that's included and may mount it to the wall at some point; But for now, it looks great sitting on top of my TV console.
The subwoofer is quite a bit smaller than expected but this just means it's easier to hide. I like a clean look so I don't like a massive subwoofer sitting out on the floor. The smaller size makes it easier to hide and, being wireless, I can put this anywhere I please in the living room where an electrical outlet is available. I decided to set up the subwoofer beside my couch where it tucked in nicely out of sight.
After plugging everything in and attempting to test it out, I realized that the soundbar wasn't automatically paired. After a quick review of the set-up guide and a few minutes, it was paired and was ready to be tested. I also took this opportunity to connect the soundbar to Smart Things after it was mentioned in the guide. I found it very simple to pair the subwoofer and set up in Smart Things.
My first impression of the audio quality was simply "Wow." I realized what I had been missing with my mid-grade 7 year old soundbar.
I'm impressed with the amount of options in Smart Things and it was simple to adjust the sound mode, subwoofer, and channels to my liking. DTS Virtual:X sound mode with shows and movies gives the illusion of having true surround sound. Voices are much clearer and I don't find myself adjusting the volume up and down throughout shows and movies like I used to with my old soundbar. It sounds as though I have multiple speakers in each corner of the room. I'm extremely impressed with the sound quality of both the soundbar and the subwoofer.
Music is just as impressive coming out of this soundbar. I can connect either via Bluetooth or cast audio through my WiFi network just as I would a smart speaker or smart home device. I love having the option to cast without connecting via Bluetooth. There's also an option to tap the speaker with my phone to connect which is a neat feature.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the soundbar and can say nothing negative about it. I can't recommend it enough

Clear Sound, Rumbling Bass!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a mighty soundbar! Upgrading from a soundbar that didn't even connect correctly to our TV (we had to adjust settings just to get audio!), this soundbar is a complete 180! Paired with a Samsung TV, the sound, sync, and ease of use is amazing! Q Symphony gives a rich, full, centered sound and the built in speakers of the soundbar offer surround-like sounds to fill the room! Pairing with Smartthings allows for easy use with a phone and even allows for tapping your phone to the soundbar to transfer your music, so cool!
The subwoofer is small...but mighty! With two different sized woofers paired with the mids and highs from the soundbar, you get amazing room filling bass you can feel and not a frequency gets missed. Truly the definition of Full Sound.
I've yet to find anything I don't enjoy about this soundbar....so what are you waiting for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Samsung QS700F soundbar for a few weeks, and it’s transformed my living room for movie nights! It’s a steal for its sleek design and the Dolby Atmos sound. The 3.1.2 Dolby Atmos audio delivers crisp dialogue with an immersive height effects for movies.
I really like SpaceFit Sound Pro. It uses the soundbar’s mic to analyze my room’s acoustics and adjust the audio accordingly. I absolutely appreciate the Convertible Fit Feature as it recognizes if the soundbar is on tabletop or mounted and tweaks the audio to keep it sounding great. The subwoofer packs a nice punch for action scenes and listening to songs.
Setting it up was a breeze as it’s not that many wires to connect. The smart integration is a plus for me! Having built-in Alexa is super convenient - I can control the soundbar, play Spotify, or even turn off my smart lights without reaching for my phone.
I’m also a big gamer and the Game Mode Pro is definitely a game changer when I’m playing my PS5. For example, when I’m playing the Spider-Man game it optimize audio for gaming and I notice crisper effects, like web-slinging sounds popping more vividly.
I would highly recommend for anybody that’s in the market looking for a soundbar! This has really changed the quality of sound from my tv and transforms into something amazing!!

Amazing Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW-QS700F came well packaged, easy to carry, even with subwoofer. It includes all cables and remote (with batteries) needed to setup and work directly out of box for HDMI TV hookup. The app made the setup super quick and easy with access to all features or even full control, so no need to keep another remote out to control.
The 3.1.2 surround sound fills the room with powerful high and lows, with no shortcomings on the subwoofers power., excellent for movies and live sports (tested with hockey and baseball).
I've personally only owned a 7.1 surround sound system and basic 2-channel soundbar.
The HW-QS700F provided a higher quality than my older 7.1, as the room isn't square and has open space, and the 2-channel soundbar didn't even compare.
This is by far an amazing value for my type of setup, that provides the movie quality sound, with strong a strong balance for a surround system, which also includes a subwoofer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost, this is an absolutely beautiful soundbar. I love the way it looks and how it's been designed to look upscale and not just a regular old soundbar. Completely wasn't expecting that and I never knew I could like something like that.
Now for the soundbar portion of it, it left me wanting for a bit more. I expected a bit more punch of the bass. I have a few movies where I test this out and it didn't deliver the way I had hoped. Now this isn't in my home theater, it sits in my bedroom for some TV before bed. The audio quality is great and it delivers clear dialogue which is always helpful.
If not for the design of the soundbar, it'd be a 3 star. But it's a sexy soundbar.

Perfect Family room soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This soundbar is perfect for a family room to fill with audio for audible dialog and TV watching experience with a True 3.1.2 Sound stage. I was looking for something compact but had decent output with Wireless Dolby Atmos. Since I don't own a Samsung TV, I am unable to take advantage of Q-Symphony. I am very familiar with Samsung Soundbars in general as I own 2 of the Q series ones prior to this. The SpaceFit Sound, and smart features with SmartThings app are a very nice touch and can change modes to Adaptive, DTS, Night mode and Game.
This fit the bill in size, features and power. I used it for general tv watching experience and also couple of owned movie titles from streaming library store by hooking up to my main streaming device. It worked well. The compact dual facing subwoofer can really punch above it's weight. It doesn't have an LED display like the higher end models do but has a light strip for feedback. Overall, it's a decent soundbar and I am happy with it.

Crisp in sound and form

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I originally thought this soundbar was big (and it is in comparison to a much lesser model I had previously), the performance is MUCH bigger than the form factor. This thing blows my built-in TV speakers out of the water AND out-performs my old soundbar in every measure.
It's sleek and minimal, though it takes up the width of my entire TV stand! The sub-woofer is compact and sleek as well, with no openings to allow dust to accumulate.
The physical setup was simple and straightforward, though I did have to try the app setup three times before it connected properly. Once connected, the app runs everything easily. It was also dead simple to connect to Spotify, which is handy.
I watched several shows and movies as well as played a few streaming albums and everything sounds great. I tested out various settings and found the default settings to sound best for most applications, though I did crank the bass to see how rumbly it would get with some bass-heavy music. The conclusion: VERY.
So far, so good. I'll continue vetting the sound with different media and different physical locations for the soundbar and sub.

Sounds like a movie theater

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m genuinely impressed with what it brings to the table. This 3.1.2-channel soundbar delivers deep, punchy bass and a clever convertible design that makes it a standout for home theater fans. Here’s my take after testing it out.
The HW-QS700F’s coolest trick is its ability to switch between tabletop and wall-mounted setups, with a built-in gyroscope tweaking the sound to stay top-notch either way. The compact wireless subwoofer pumps out seriously deep bass—think rumbling explosions in *Mad Max: Fury Road* or thumping beats in Charli XCX’s *Brat*—without drowning out clear dialogue or crisp highs. Features like wireless Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony (which syncs with Samsung TVs for a bigger soundstage), and SpaceFit Sound Pro (which tunes audio to your room) make movies and games feel immersive. Plus, setup is a breeze with the SmartThings app, and streaming via AirPlay 2 or Spotify Connect is seamless. The bass is a highlight, and the flexibility of the design is perfect for any living room. If you want cinematic sound without spending a fortune, the HW-QS700F is a fantastic pick, especially if you’ve got a Samsung TV.
**Rating: 8.5/10**
*Great for movie buffs and music lovers who want big sound in a sleek package.*
