Very disappointed and frustrated

I have had my coffee maker for four months and it has died!! Add to that, the frustration of not being able to get warrantee information and I am now just plain mad. I have had other Keurig coffee makers, none of which have lasted very long, but four months is the record. I highly recommend buying something besides the Keurig, and don't bother to register it, they don't acknowledge the warrantee at all. Bad choice.

Terrible instruction

The box does say any thing about a water filter you need to buy extra. The filter is expensive and the pods that go with the water filter are expensive. Obvious this is meant for you to buy additional products. Will be taking this back to the store for a refund. PS don't call for help that didn't work either

The K-Express Essentials coffee maker is compatible with the Keurig Tall Handle Water Filter Starter Kit, however, it is sold separately. This is an optional accessory and not required in order to use the coffee maker. We hope this helps!

Didn't Last Past 4 Months

I purchased this model for my husband at Christmas to replace his previous Keurig (that stopped working after 1 yr). He started using it in January of this year, by mid-April it stopped working completely. The power supply completely stopped working. We kept it descaled on a weekly basis so we know that is not the issue. This is the 2nd Keurig that didn't last a year, wouldn't recommend.

Amazing And Fast

I am beyond happy with my coffee maker. I love the design simple but chic. I recieved the one in color black which was perfect it matched all my other appliances. Me and my husband have been using it everyday it brews quickly which is also convenient when your on the go. Since receiving I am buying all types of different K Cups. My favorite so far is the Dunkin Donuts K Cups. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. But I without a doubt will be purchasing one for my mother.

They finally evolved!

This is my first Keurig machine. I had a Mr. Coffee that worked with K-cups 6 years ago. It was very inexpensive but worked great. It still makes coffee today in my mother’s house. I passed it to her when I received a Keurig for my birthday. Sadly, that Keurig came broken and I wasn’t able to use it more than three times, nor get support for it (didn’t have the receipt). I was so disappointed at Keurig that I decided to jump ship entirely and bought a Nespresso. It’s not necessary to discuss anything about Keurig vs Nespresso here. I gave my Nespresso a vacation to be able to experience this Keurig fully. Also, this is a review for a Keurig machine and I prefer to focus on that. In the end, both machines are designed for different audiences. Now, what about this coffee maker? Since the moment I unpacked it, made me feeI that Keurig is evolving in the single serve niche. They show it in their machine design and how they focus on simplicity. The broken Keurig, I ended up throwing in the trash, was beautiful and a step in a new direction for Keurig, but I felt it incomplete. I hated that I never knew what coffee size I was gonna end up getting. The water tank was too small and difficult to figure out how much water to add. This new one has a dedicated water tank that you can fill at will. It even has a sensor that tells you if there’s enough water for the coffee size you selected. Oh, because there’s a button for each coffee size! One thing that impressed me was how fast my first cup of coffee was made. This thing heats up quickly and brews even faster, under 1 minute. Very useful when you’re in a rush. The build materials are plastic and no more. I think it could be better but also guess that they’ll made other models with metal. On thing I particularly love about returning to a Keurig is the wide variety of things I’m able to choose. I’m particularly happy about brewing my favorite coffee brand: Peet’s Coffee. The Nespresso is cool but one terrible flaw is that you can only use the brand coffee, and it’s really expensive. I’m now in my 13 coffee cup using this machine and the disappointment of my previous Keurig has vanished. They definitely redeemed themselves. This machine works great and do a terrific coffee. No only does coffee but tea, hot cocoa and more. Did I mention it’s fast? Oh, yes. It is. What are you waiting for? I received this product for free from Influenster and Keurig in exchange for my honest review.

Easy, No-Frills Machine

I received this unit from Keurig and Influenster for free a few weeks ago. Been playing with it since and its honestly a pretty great machine. The teal color adds a nice splash to the kitchen and when I am in a bit of a rush and have no time to make a full espresso, the pods save me a few minutes. Even when only pulling hot water for tea, its great to be able to push a button and have it ready to go! A few Pros/Cons below.
PROS:
- Great for making smaller cups to drink either late in the day. The 6oz and 8oz buttons are convenient for pulling hot water for recipes too!
- Wide range of pods for various beverages.
- Colorful machines make for a statement in any kitchen.
- Quiet and quick brewing.
- Instantly ready to use once turned on.
CONS:
- Rather Small Watertank. Needs to be refilled often depending on usage.
- Machine is made of cheap feeling plastic. Makes me question longevity.
- Pods are a bit expensive and environmental impact is a concern.
- Quality of coffee/tea in pods leaves a lot to be desired.
Overall a nice convenient design and a well functioning machine. For a beverage professional or coffee/tea enthusiast, you might feel a bit underwhelmed. For an average user who has multiple cups of coffee/tea a day this will make your drink prep seamless.
Also perfect for small apartments/college dorms.

Great Coffee from a Streamlined Machine!

This coffee maker is a great product. My previous coffee maker was very poor quality, and I noticed a huge difference in taste when I began using this one. Also, I was very impressed both with how quickly this heats the water and brews the coffee and with how perfectly hot the finished product is.
This machine was very easy to set up and the small number of buttons make it very easy to use. It also has a relatively small countertop footprint compared to other coffee makers I have used.
I have used K-cups in this machine from McCafe, Green Mountain, and Vitacup and was pleased with the taste and quality of these coffees. I was also very happy to learn that the refillable coffee pods are compatible with this machine, allowing me to use my own fresh-ground coffee and reduce plastic/packaging waste.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Second coffee maker that stopped working!

My keurig worked great when i first got it, i did everything correctly such as using purified water and a filter but once it came time to descaling it the keurig stopped working all together the first time. i got a warranty replacement and it came time to descaling it, followed the keurig descaling instructions to a T and it even brewed fine the cup i made after descaling the keurig but now it is just blinking the lights 2 times at me and shutting off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
