I was hoping it would help my five year old son with imaginative play, but he didn't show Amy interest in it. It's a little set with people and a horse. Also has a fruit stand. Just wasn't the right fit for my son.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just the right amount of pieces for a child to be busy with for hours and not scatter all over the place.
The people and horse are so lifelike. it is really great quality and so well made.

The play set is very sturdy and little accessories are so real. She’s played with it and added more toys to the play set. It really gets her to use her imagination.

They're hard to keep track of and cause grief when my children notice something is missing. That said, this toy is an exception to the rule with the benefits far outweighing the possible downsides.
The set is easy to set up and is all inclusive. It is a realistic rendering of what you might find at a farm stand including a cart, umbrella, scale, cash register, and a variety of produce. The craftsmanship and quality are incredible with vibrant, detailed, realistic pieces.
This is well suited for imaginative play. There are so many scenarios and configurations to explore. At times the included figurines are a mother and son, sometimes they are a proprietor and buyer, other times they are both farm stand employees and that's without adding a horse to the mix.
My favorite component is that beyond fostering my children's creativity, it provides multiple learning opportunities with minimal effort. For example, I have used it to help my kids embrace unfamiliar fruits and vegetables, to engage in conversation about where food comes from and how it's cultivated, to spark interest in food preparation, to discuss animal care as well as to introduce the economic concept of a free market. I love that there are enough stickers supplied to allow my children to determine the price of their wares and to adjust as they see fit. I have found it helpful in encouraging my children to strengthen their math skills.
When my children are done playing, nearly everything fits in the cart for storage. The crates can also be stacked with food inside for efficiency and to reduce the risk of pieces getting lost.
My children and I have spent countless hours bonding and making memories together while playing with this product. I am so happy that I took a chance on this set.
