Since the new OS update on my Galaxy S24 ultra, I do not receive messages on my watch or they take a few minutes. Also, I can't charge my watch with my phone. I get a message saying "unsupported charger". Disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Life changing. Finally a battery that can keep up with my lifestyle!! Never been an owner of any other phone brand or watch so I can't exactly say it's the "best of the best" for a fact, but in my opinion this is the absolute best watch out there. This is my 4th upgrade since samsung started coming out with smart watches. I am blown away with the battery to start. I have my complete health apps, auto workout detect, GPS, and txt notifications enabled on my watch. I am active at least 10-15 hours a day and this watch still prevails! I waited about a year since owning to leave a review because previous watches have "slowed" aka the battery won't last as long. This watch has kept its durability and battery life. I am 42 and life's starting to throw new health "thomgs" my way, and the peace of mind this watch gives me is worth every penny. I breathe on average 17times a minute when im asleep. My aeg levels I need to work on because I work 60-70hpur weeks & it stresses my body hard. Anyone else know these type things without a doctor present? I am obsessed and forever grateful to the genius' who created such an incredible watch! I could go on for days. I feel lost without it on my wrist.
The charger provided doesn't like my USB charging hub, and I have to use my lithium 'jump starter/battery bank' to charge my watch. This is the only device I own that won't charge from my charger.
Not using the health stuff, for the most part, so I get a couple days out of it. If I had all the health stuff, and AI turned on, the battery might last a day.
If battery life was better, I'd have given it 5 stars.
Bixby is handy on this device while cooking. Hold the button, "Set an alarm for seven minutes." It works great! On my phone, I don't use Bixby at all. I don't use the others either.
Using it as a BT device to play music in my car, drains the battery fast! (To be fair, my car is a 2018 Ford, and probably doesn't support BTLE.)
It's warming up, so I'll be using my ebike and Buds 3 pro more. I'll keep using my phone to play music on the Buds because of the battery drain while sending music over BT. I can use my phone, and charge it at the time, charging from of my ebike, while I ride. It's really disappointing about the battery drain when the watch is sending BT music. Maybe my car isn't BTLE, and the Buds are? Not sure. Haven't tested it yet. I get about 4-5 hours on my Buds connected to my PC, if that helps anyone.
The screen is great for typing! I'm shocked at how well the screen works! I'm quite impressed at how well you can type on this tiny little screen! You can Swype too!
Every time you take it off, and put it back on, you need to enter your pin. It's probably been twice, that I've had to enter my pin twice.
Would I buy this again? Yes. I'm also looking to upgrade to the Ultra 2!
So far I'm very disappointed in my new watch I expected a superior experience over the galaxy 4 watch . Now I'm not so sure why I wasted the money .

The watch is full with bugs and does not provide optimal experience. Cheaper competitors have much better products running on Android Platform .
