Gorgeous!

I bought this in the navy. It is more beautiful in person. The quality is amazing and it has been very sturdy even while being checked on the airplane. I did buy a cover and it keeps the suitcase looking like new. This suitcase has so many great features. The inside has a zippered cover for both sides with pockets. The zipper pulls on the inside have a vegan leather pull. The zipper on the outside is very secure and the TSA locks are great. The attention to detail is unmatched. I love the 2 bags and hanger also. I hung a jacket on the hanger and attached it on the Delsey tag (on the inside) to keep it from wrinkling. I worked great. I have the lg carry-on, the backpack, the cross body and the toiletries bag and love them all. Beautiful and great quality.

Poor quality on the corners

I bought this in August and only used it once. It's checked luggage, so I knew there would be some wear and tear, but I was disappointed by how poorly the corners withstood even one trip. I had bought it hoping that if the size didn't work for me this would at least hold some resale value but I doubt anyone would buy this from me for even half the purchase price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exceptional Luggage

Not the greatest luggage I’ve ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very beautiful... But after a long journeys for weeks on end in Europe... The whole thing fell apart. Wheels came off... The plastic exterior cracked off as well. I’m lucky I made it back home with it.Why I ordered a second one I’m not sure. Maybe because it matches the rest of my set.

Trim piece comes out of recessed area

I have had airline break trim and constantly have to gorilla glue trim to stay in place! Otherwise great bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this larger Chatelet to complement the previously bought carry-on, medium size Chatelet and Duffel Bag. The collection is now complete. I took the 2 earlier bags and the duffel on a 2 week trip to South America and my things were secure and in good shape throughout the trip. Unfortunately, upon my return home the wheels on the larger bag were moving sideways, making it difficult to handle. I am at a loss as to what happened during its handling by airport baggage handlers.
